Lawgents.com FAQs

What is Lawgents.com?
Lawgents.com is a legal news aggregator specifically designed for ease of use and convenience. With the internet's largest library of legal blogs and news sites, it's the easiest and fastest way for legal professionals, and others, to stay ahead.

Why would I use Lawgents.com?
Simply stated, to save you time. With Lawgents you can choose which legal blogs and resources you wish to follow and see their most recent updates chronologically in a single place.

How does it work?
When you sign up for an account at lawgents.com, the first step is to login. After you have logged in you can choose which feeds from our library you want to appear in your "My Feeds" section. We have over 90 feeds to choose from, and you can subscribe and unsubscribe from any feed at anytime. The feeds you subscribe to are displayed in chronological order by publish date with the most recent posts on top.

How much does it cost?
Nothing! Lawgents is a completely free service.

Why aren't there more blogs in your library?
Only blogs that are current and working are entered into the Lawgents library. Because Lawgents is a news reader and not an archive, noncurrent websites do not add anything to the user experience. However, if you think we are missing any blogs or sites, please let us know by using the "Request a Feed" button at the bottom of every page.

I want to follow a blog, but it's not in your library?
Using our "Request a Feed" button at the bottom of every page, you can let us know what website you would like to follow. After we have gathered all relevant information we will add it to our library as soon as we can.

How do I get my blog into the Lawgents library?
Using our "Request a Feed" button at the bottom of every page, you can give us your website address. After we have gathered all relevant information we will add it to our library as soon as we can. Additionally, all submitted blogs are tested by a developer to ensure they are actively posting and working in our system.

How many items from each blog are displayed?
Because Lawgents is a news reader, and not an archive, we only display the 5 most recent posts from a website or blog.

How often are the feeds updated?
Feeds on Lawgents are re-cached every 10 minutes. By "refreshing" the new items will be displayed on your "My Feeds" page.
